A new diet plan that is gaining popularity is called the “Big Breakfast” diet and it shows to be a new thought process on the dieting scene.

What is the Big Breakfast Diet?

By eating a large breakfast of 600 calories that is rich in carbohydrates and protein, dieters are able to lose more weight and sustain the diet to achieve long-lasting results. According to a recent study conducted by the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, findings show that a group of dieters who ate a 600 calorie breakfast in the morning then later in the day ate healthy meals that consist of 640 calories, lost an average of twenty-one percent of their body weight over a period of four months. The diet allows participants to consume 22 grams of fat, 58 grams of carbohydrates, and 47 grams of protein totaling 1,240 calories for the entire day.
